Antonio Twane Williams is an accomplished public health professional who specializes in LGBTQ health disparities, specifically HIV/AIDS prevention and management among Black Gay men. He holds a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Jackson State University and a bachelor’s degree in education from Alcorn State University. Antonio’s academic and professional endeavors reflect a deep commitment to addressing health inequalities through community engagement, education, and policy advocacy.Throughout his career, Antonio has played pivotal roles in various capacities, including as an Executive Director at Carl Bean Men’s Health and Wellness Center and a Program Director at New Season dba Birmingham Metro Treatment Center. His expertise spans program management, implementation, and evaluation, significantly impacting community health initiatives and policies. Antonio’s scholarly work includes published articles in peer-reviewed journals, highlighting his research on family support and communication in HIV prevention among Black men who have sex with men. Antonio has also been involved in extensive service activities, contributing to professional organizations and community services. He has chaired and reviewed numerous panels and conferences, focusing on public health disparities and LGBTQ health, demonstrating leadership in fostering discussions and solutions for pressing health issues. His community engagement extends beyond professional boundaries.
