Dr. Sumantra Monty Ghosh graduated from the Masters in Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. He is an Internist, Disaster Medicine, and Addiction Specialist who did his training at The University of Calgary and the University of Alberta. He currently works with vulnerable populations such as those with substance use issues and homelessness and sits on various national boards and committees committed to this work. He also does research in various public health and addiction initiatives which are sponsored by Health Canada, the Government of Alberta, and the Canadian Institute of Health Research.

Monty is an Emeritus member of the BCPH Board.
