Dr. Hannah Nazri

Dr Hannah Nazri is a clinician scientist, entrepreneur, and women’s health advocate focused on advancing equitable healthcare and policy change. She completed her medical degree at the University of Bristol, with an intercalated BSc in Medical Physics & Bioengineering at University College London, followed by an MSc in Clinical Embryology and a DPhil at the University of Oxford. She has worked as an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Warwick, combining clinical practice with research.

She is currently an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University Malaysia, undertaking a research sabbatical supported by multiple international fellowships. In August 2026, she will begin a Master of Public Health in Health Policy at Harvard University. Her work focuses on neglected conditions such as endometriosis and ending harmful practices including FGM/C, integrating clinical care, research, advocacy, and global health policy.

She holds leadership roles with Malaysian Doctors for Women & Children, UNFPA Malaysia, the Asia Network to End FGM/C, the Boston Congress of Public Health, and the World Endometriosis Society, and has collaborated with international organisations and advocated at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. Her recognitions include the Royal Commonwealth Society Associate Fellowship, Women of the Future Award UK finalist, and an invitation to His Majesty the King’s Garden Party.
