Krista Cezair is a Boston Congress of Public Health Practicum Scholar. 

Krista is interested in mental health, particularly with disparities in mental health and mental illness among Black people, women of color, youth of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are of color. She has worked at the American Psychological Association, the leading scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the United States, and at Mental Health America, the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness and to promoting the overall mental health of all. At Mental Health America, Cezair wrote a journal article exploring digital mental health interventions and their regulation, proposing policy changes with the goal of increasing access to mental healthcare for youth of color. Before matriculating at Harvard University, she worked at Google.

Krista holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Howard University. She is currently a graduate student earning a dual J.D./MPH at Harvard Law School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, working toward concentrations in Health Policy and Population Mental Health.
