Seyana Sivakumaran, a dedicated health professional, graduated with her Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Ottawa in 2021; she is expected to receive her Master of Public Health from MCPHS University this September. Currently, Seyana works at a pharmaceutical company that serves long-term care facilities. She has worked in various sectors in this company including project management, operations, and medical reconciliation. Seyana strives to improve healthcare accessibility and promote health equity, especially in the POC communities of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In the future, Seyana strives to initiate a diabetes prevention education program for the South Asian Youth in the GTA.
