Dr. Jessica Liu

Dr. Jessica Liu is a recent graduate of the Population Health Sciences PhD program in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is continuing her academic career as a post-doctoral researcher at Stanford University in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Health. Jessica’s research focuses on adolescent health and school-based prevention interventions, specifically the adolescent vaping epidemic. Jessica has presented her research work to advocate for policy in state hearings, such as for the Connecticut state-wide flavored tobacco sales restriction. She is also very passionate about teaching and mentoring, and hopes to pursue a career in academia as a professor. Jessica has over eight years of experience teaching over 20 courses across three universities. Fun fact – Jessica’s passion for teaching even extends to fitness, as she is a certified spin and group fitness instructor!
