Sheena Ramazana

Dr Sheena Ramazanu is an Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Metropolitan University’s School of Nursing and Health Studies. She’s a certified Global Nurse Consultant at International Council of Nurses (ICN) and CGFNS International. Over the years of her service in the fields of Public Health and Nursing, Dr Sheena Ramazanu has been conferred several prestigious awards including, the Ministry of Health Gold Medal Award (Singapore), Tay Eng Soon Health Science Award, The Manchester Leadership Gold Award, World Skills Singapore Silver Medal in Caring, Singapore Nurses Association Award, Capital Land Healthcare Frontlines Award, Ten Outstanding Young Persons (Singapore)- Merit Award for the Category of Academic Leadership & Accomplishment and the prestigious Royal Society for Public Health Fellowship (FRSPH).

Since her service as a Registered Nurse in the hospitals and as an Academic Faculty member in various institutions, Dr Sheena Ramazanu has mentored several students and faculty members in the healthcare landscape at local, regional, and international settings. Some of Dr Sheena Ramazanu’s mentees have taken part in international competitions and conferences. In 2023, Dr Ramazanu convened the Shine Bright Bursary Award to better support students from low-income families. Dr Ramazanu strives for better health promotion among the underrepresented and underserved communities. Currently, she serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Universitas Serang Raya, where she collaborates with the University faculty members and students to co-design sustainable health programmes in rural communities of Indonesia.
