The Boston Congress of Public Health, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to democratizing public health and cultivating, connecting, and catalyzing the next generation of public health leaders in all sectors, including clinical medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, law, business, and other areas.

We invite all individuals with an interest, passion, and/or active profession in public health, health equity, and/or social justice to join as a member of The Boston Congress of Public Health.

Student/Resident Membership

Any individual who possesses a current student email account with a university is eligible to purchase a Boston Congress of Public Health Student Membership. Applicants must show evidence of the current student email account at the time of purchase. Individuals who are residents at an academic medical center, community medical center, or hospital are eligible to purchase the student/resident membership. Failure to show a current student or resident email account will result in the full refunding of the purchase. Eligibility is determined at the time of purchase. Students and residents from all countries are eligible for this membership.

Non-Student/Non-Resident Membership

Any individual who is not currently enrolled as a student at a university is eligible to purchase a Boston Congress of Public Health Professional Membership. Individuals must provide proof of association with an organization at the time of purchase.

Lifetime Membership

Individuals who purchased membership for the Boston Congress of Public Health from Jan 1, 2022 to Feb 1, 2022, 12 AM EST received lifetime membership with the organization and do not have to pay annual fees.

$10,000 academic scholarship

Students who purchase a Boston Congress of Public Health membership and become an ambassador for the organization are eligible to win the $10,000 academic scholarship. The scholarship winner will be chosen randomly. The scholarship will be sent to the individual’s university, academic or community medical center, or academic or community hospital for distribution. The scholarship can be utilized for a student’s tuition or other academic pursuits or academic enrichments (e.g. books, attendance at research conferences, travel to conferences, etc.). BCPH will not actively monitor the use of funds after their distribution, but will request information regarding how funds are utilized. The academic scholarship was announced in 2023.

$10,000 professional grant

Professionals who purchase a Boston Congress of Public Health membership are eligible to win the $10,000 academic grant. The grant winner will be chosen randomly. The scholarship will be sent to the individual’s selected organization for distribution. The grant can be utilized for a professional’s professional or academic pursuits or academic enrichments (e.g. books, attendance at research conferences, travel to conferences, etc.). BCPH will not actively monitor the use of funds after their distribution, but will request information regarding how funds are utilized. The grant was announced in 2023.
