Lianne Hope is the founder of Hope Consulting Group (HCG), a small business that specializes in project management and community engagement within the public health and behavioral health industries. She has dedicated her life’s work to uplifting HIV/AIDS communities. Through the Ryan White Program, Lianne has managed advisory boards in Boston and Oakland, and in turn has contributed to ensuring that critical services are adequately funded for people living with HIV.
In 2021, Lianne joined forces with Alameda County Public Health Department’s COVID-19 team to contribute to the emergency response. She designed and launched the County’s Vaccine Incentive Program for eligible adults and youth, the largest scale gift card distribution operation the County has undertaken. Previously, Lianne served as a clinical therapist, working alongside vulnerable populations including addicts, refugees, and adults with major mental illness and assisted her clients with their personalized treatment plans.
Lianne holds a Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work from Boston University and is currently based in Oakland, CA. Lianne identifies as a proud queer woman of color.
