Former Vice-Chairperson, Asian Medical Students' Association (Pakistan Chapter)
Dr. Muhammad Jawad Noon is a medical doctor with further training in policy and economics. Currently, he is a researcher at the University of Göttingen in Germany.
He held positions as the President of Shifaites Serving Humanity and Vice-Chairperson of the Asian Medical Students’ Association (Pakistan Chapter). Moreover, he served on the Evidence-Based Medicine Committee of the Society of General Internal Medicine, USA and the Advocacy and Communications Committee of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH). Notably, he led CUGH’s Campus Representatives Committee.
Apart from that, his research has been cited by top media outlets such as CNN News, Business Insider, and CBS News, and he has written op-eds for Al Jazeera, Fortune, and Scientific American. He is also a TEDx speaker and has provided consultancy to international organizations.
Jawad has been honored with national and international awards, including the German Medical Award (Düsseldorf, Germany) and the Dr. Judy Wasserheit Young Leader Award (Washington DC, USA).
