Obinna Ezeani is a biochemist, a multi-award-winning Public Health Researcher, and a Digital Health Enthusiast with over 3 years of work experience across various industries including healthcare, education, and marketing. He has worked with the Nigerian Food and Drug Regulatory Agency (FDA), popularly known as NAFDAC; a tier #1 public health organization in Nigeria. During his time at the Nigerian FDA, Obinna was awarded twice consecutively as the Best Research Paper Presenter, at the 12th & 14th immersion programs respectively, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to public health through research that informed public health policies in Nigeria. Currently, Obinna is an Assistant Director at the Boston Congress of Public Health (BCPH); a U.S.-based non-profit public health organization. His work at BCPH focuses on supporting public health researchers and policymakers within the U.S. and beyond with up-to-date public health policies. He has received recognition for his public health and entrepreneurship training and certification achievements from several prestigious organizations, including the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the British International Safety Organization, the Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme (a project of the Kingdom of the Netherlands), and the Dunin-Desphande Innovation Center at Queen’s University in Canada.
Obinna is also a seasoned national and international public speaker who has given speeches in several nations, including but not restricted to Nigeria, the Czech Republic, Indonesia, India, etc. Additionally, Obinna has been involved in, worked for, or been a member of a number of illustrious organizations, including the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Lagos Nigeria; the Boston Congress of Public Health, Hollywood, California; the United Youth International Model United Nations (UYIMUN), Rampur, India; the Forward Falls Initiative, Abuja, Nigeria; the Samuel Ioron Foundation, Benue, Nigeria; Vantage Migration and Allied Consult, Lagos Nigeria; Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme, Lagos Nigeria; Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellowship, Ontario Canada; WHO – Regional Office for Africa, Brazzaville Republic of Congo, etc.
Obinna is a budding social entrepreneur who wants to use his knowledge of technology and expertise in developing cutting-edge digital solutions to address healthcare issues both within and outside of Nigeria.
