Dr. Khulud Elnur Khudur is a board certified public health epidemiologist. She is highly motivated, result-oriented, equity focused and strategic Program Manager with over 10 years of leadership experience in public health, bio-behavioral health, and academic industries focusing on health equity and social disparities. She has effective leadership capabilities to guide high performing teams to achieve organizational goals.
Strong problem-solving skills provide solutions to complex challenges. In addition, she is result-oriented in technical evaluation skills and translating data into digestible action steps that advance equity. She is trained in epidemiological study design, infectious disease models, cohort study design and longitudinal analyses. She worked as an epidemiologist with the CDC Foundation supporting Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment where she lead the epidemiological and control methods for over 100 facilities across the state of Colorado managing the COVID-19 response in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc with a focus on drawing lessons learned for practice, policy, and program changes.
Dr. Khudur holds a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) , with a concentration in COVID-19. She earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Community Health and Development from Marshall University and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science (MSLIS) from The Catholic University of American. In addition, she earned her Bachelor in Bio-Behavioral Health (BBH) from The Penn State University.
Furthermore, she has completed a Harvard University Fellowship titled Project Zero in 2018. Her educational training, nearly decade of experience in this field, and passion for advancing equity and inclusion makes her uniquely qualified to be successful in this role. She is a passionate, driven, and research-oriented person dedicated to helping individuals most in need through my research and practice.
