Douglas Eric Jordan is a communication scholar with expertise in health communication and the development of health programs using the methods of Social Marketing in Public Health. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Communication at Liberty University and has a master’s degree in Communication, International Relations, Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. He has also earned an executive certificate in communication and in Social Marketing in Public Health. Doug’s research interests focus on areas of Veteran health, post-traumatic stress, and suicide prevention. He is currently an Associate Professor of Practice at the Joint Special Operations University in Tampa, Florida, and is a retired Army Officer.
