Dr. Tony Sillemon, PsyD is a transformational leader whose strategic vision and deep community connection have advanced Sutter’s mission on a local, regional, and national scale. As Director of Community Health, Tony oversees East Bay Advanced Care (EBAC), Volunteer Services, and Chaplaincy across three campuses. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, he has led a powerful recovery and expansion — growing the volunteer department from just 1 volunteer to over 300 active members, re-engaging patients in HIV care, and securing more than $33 million in grant funding for HIV treatment and prevention. He remains an active and influential member of the East Bay Getting to Zero coalition, a region-wide community effort he previously led and continues to help shape.

Dr. Sillemon holds a doctorate in Psychology, an MBA and MSW, and received the Dr. Robert C. Scott Achievement Award for excellence in HIV/AIDS services to the African American community, the Alameda County World AIDS Day Treatment and Care Award, and the NAESM Achievement Award for his contribution to the Black men who have sex with men (BMSM) community.
