Pedro A. Serrano, MPH, CPH, is a public health Scholar-Practitioner, and community engagement expert with more than 15 years of experience advancing health equity. He is the Founder and Principal of PAS LLC and Cofounder and President of the Chicago Queer Latine Collaborative, where he drives community-based research and transformative initiatives. Serrano has held leadership roles at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Cook County Health’s CORE Center, managing large-scale HIV prevention and implementation science projects. His scholarship includes numerous peer-reviewed publications on HIV prevention, stigma, digital health, and community-driven interventions. A dedicated educator and mentor, he has taught and guided students across public health and clinical science training programs. He has secured diverse funding to support community-academic partnerships and culturally responsive interventions serving Latine and LGBTQ+ communities. Serrano has delivered invited talks nationally on HIV prevention, health equity, and community-engaged research. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health in Leadership and Management at Claremont Graduate University. Recognized with multiple awards and fellowships, he is committed to building sustainable solutions that reduce health disparities. His work bridges academic, nonprofit, and governmental sectors to ensure research translates into real-world impact.
