Salma Abdalla is a dedicated public health and epidemiology professional committed to advancing health equity and improving population health outcomes. She currently serves as a Case Manager at MHMR Tarrant County, where she empowers and improves lives by addressing unique health care and mental health needs. She builds strategic partnerships to reach underserved populations and reduce health disparities. Previously, she served as an Epidemiologist with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, where she spearheaded outbreak response strategies for COVID-19, Influenza, and RSV. Her data-driven approach informed statewide policies and helped safeguard vulnerable populations, including residents of long-term care facilities.
 
Salma’s expertise spans health management, infectious disease control, chronic disease prevention, and the social determinants of health. She is recognized for her ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies that empower communities and improve health outcomes.
 
She holds a Master of Science in Public Health from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a minor in Women’s Studies from Arizona State University. In addition to her academic achievements, she is Certified in Public Health (CPH), a Certified Community Health Worker (CHW), and a Google Data Analytics Professional.
