Taylor Rich is a public health leader with over a decade of experience advancing equity in maternal and child health, reproductive justice, and health policy. She is a doctoral candidate in Women’s Health Equity at Bay Path University, where her research connects community care, advocacy, and systems transformation.
As Senior Project Manager at Partners In Health, Taylor leads statewide coalition-building and policy strategy to strengthen the community health workforce. Her work emphasizes expanding the role of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in public health systems, improving equitable access to care, and shaping workforce development reform.
Previously, she served as Director of Partnerships and Initiatives at Girls Inc. of Worcester, creating equity-driven programs for more than 250 girls annually. She introduced culturally responsive curricula addressing menstrual equity, mental health, housing insecurity, and the gender pay gap while managing budgets and partnerships.
A certified birth doula and certified community health worker (CHW), Taylor advocates for legislation, including the Sex Trade Survivor’s Act, and Medicaid coverage for doula care and CHWs. She has been featured in national conferences and op-eds, elevating the link between early STEM exposure for youth of color and health equity.
Her expertise spans grant strategy, qualitative research, and direct service, underscoring her commitment to dismantling inequities. Whether in policy arenas or community spaces, Taylor drives inclusive innovation in community health.
