Dr. Vishnu Renjith

Dr. Vishnu Renjith is a Lecturer and Programme Director at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), where he leads postgraduate programmes in Advanced Leadership. He is an active researcher at the Skin Wound and Trauma (SWaT) Research Centre and supervises postgraduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral researchers. He also serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Cardiff University and as Adjunct Faculty at the Manipal College of Nursing, India. Dr Renjith has published over seventy peer-reviewed papers and delivered more than ninety invited talks at national and international forums. His research excellence has been recognised through multiple awards, including the Sigma Theta Tau Omicron Delta Research Award and the RCSI Student Partnership Champion Award. In 2025, he was awarded a prestigious Fellowship from Evidence Synthesis Ireland and Cochrane Ireland. He serves as an Academic Editor for PLOS ONE and is a member of the Editorial Board of BMC Nursing. A Fellow of both the Royal Society of Public Health (UK) and the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery (RCSI), Dr Renjith’s expertise spans randomised trials, qualitative studies, systematic reviews, and mixed-methods research. Through his leadership, scholarship, and mentorship, Dr Renjith continues to shape the future of health care research and evidence-based healthcare.
