Dr. Anyatonwu Obinna has a background in eye health, as well as a Master’s in Public Health with a specialization in epidemiology from Umeå University, Sweden.

His passion for research and public health is shaped by a rich blend of lived experiences, volunteer work, and professional engagements over the years. He has engaged in meaningful research experience as a research assistant and through participation in collaborative projects that have resulted in publications in peer‑reviewed journals.

Dr. Obinna’s research interests focus on maternal and child health as well as eye health, with a broader commitment to improving health outcomes through evidence‑based practice and equitable public health approaches.
