Sophia Cassim, recent graduate from Northeastern University, has followed my passion for the intersection of public health, law, and public policy, developing an interdisciplinary lens to approach complex health issues. Her work encompasses local and global initiatives that address systemic inequities, utilizing her platform to advance healthcare equity for marginalized groups. As a research assistant, she leverages data-driven research to scrutinize available health interventions and aims to produce reports reflecting strategies to bolster the connection between patients, the medical community, and manufacturers. Her eagerness to unravel the intricate field of public health has led to opportunities to amplify the voices of those overlooked by the healthcare system. She plans to continue her education and cultivate collaborative environments to evaluate emerging healthcare needs.
