The Boston Congress of Public Healthis accepting applications for its new Health Innovators to Watch Awards.
We are looking for innovators like you – individuals who have developed and championed research, programs, inventions, entrepreneurial ventures, social engagement, and more through the lens of justice and equity to improve health and well-being, especially within underserved communities and populations.
Note: If you applied in Fall 2022, your application is still being considered and will be given equal weight to all 2023 submission.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Applicants must be employed in or have a connection to a health or health-aligned sector and have a strong record of innovation in entrepreneurship, advocacy, public health, social justice, and/or equity.
Multiple nominees from the same organization can be submitted.
We take both self-nomination as well as nominations from others.
Membership at the time of application is not required, though BCPH membership is required for official consideration.
SELECTION PROCESS
A selection committee will be appointed by the BCPH and the HPHR Journal to assess and evaluate all nominees for their demonstrated leadership, innovation, commitment and contributions within their organizations, communities, and the public health field. Only 10 individuals will be selected as winners for Spring 2023.

Those named Health Innovations to Watch will have the following benefits and advantages:
National and international recognition as a health innovator;
Publication of your biography and picture on the official BCPH website;
Being featured in an interview on BCPH;
Opportunities to network with other award winners and the wider BCPH network; and
Professional development opportunities including access to policy trainings and more.
