Woody Jay Apa is a humanitarian and development practitioner with over 10 years of cumulative work experiences with the Philippine Government, international NGOs, and with the World Health Organization. Skilled in developing project proposals, implementing emergency response and rehabilitation projects, monitoring and evaluation, and financial monitoring and management; with technical expertise in community mental health, disability-inclusive development, disaster risk reduction and management and emergency response, and communicable and non-communicable disease management.
He has supported the COVID-19 response in the Philippines and in the State of Qatar by providing technical assistance on COVID-19 surveillance; data gathering and reporting; healthcare pathways; improving healthcare capacity; and supporting in accelerating COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
