Joshua Aluga is a fourth-year medical student and professional Graphic designer with interest in Global Health Policy. He has held several leadership positions in Nigeria and Africa among which of mention is theĀ Academy Coordinator of the Nigerian Medical Students’ Association-Standing Committee on Policy Implementation (NiMSA-SCOPI), Chairperson of the Federation of African Medical Students’ Associations-Standing Committee on Publications (FAMSA-SCOPUB) and the Chairman FAMSA Policy Advisory Council. As a Policy Trainer, he has trained over 500+ healthcare students in Nigeria and Africa in the area of Policy, Advocacy, and meaningful youth engagement covering courses in Policy Research, Analysis, and Evaluation as well as Leadership and Communication skills. Joshua has also contributed to drafting policy documents on Access to family planning services and Self-care in Reproductive health, which currently represents the stance of over 1.3 million medical students globally.
