Obinna is a young Biochemist, a multi-award-winning Public Health Researcher, and a Digital Health Enthusiast with over 2 years of work experience with the Nigerian Food and Drug Regulatory Agency (FDA), a tier #1 public health organization in Nigeria, where he has conducted research that has contributed to informing the public health policies in Nigeria and has received two recognition awards; Best Research Paper Presenter at the 12th and 14th national health seminars, for his contributions to public health through research. He completed his B.Sc. at the age of 19 years from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria, and completed several professional training & certifications in public health from notable international organizations such as the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, the British International Safety Organization, and so on. Furthermore, in October 2020, Obinna was invited by the conference committee to be a Speaker at the 3rd International Conference on e-Health and Alternative Healthcare and Innovations (E-health, 2020) hosted in Prague, Czech Republic where he presented research on Assessing the Level of e-Health in Africa using Nigeria as a model: Barriers & Innovations, which was published in the Journal of Health Systems and Policy Research, click here. This experience further opened him up to relevant networking with industry experts that birthed an invitation in June 2021, by the World Health Organization (WHO) – Regional Office for Africa (WHO AFRO) in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to join policymakers & industry experts at a digital health workshop to discuss Data Revolution and the Role of Artificial Intelligence (A.I) in Healthcare, particularly in the African context.
