Doofan ABAA is a dedicated public health professional specializing in Infectious Diseases. With two master’s degrees, her work as a Technical Officer for the African Field Epidemiology Network showcased her skills in managing epidemic preparedness and response across Nigeria. Doofan’s expertise spans from coordinating specimen referral systems to developing national guidelines for laboratory quality management. As a United Nations Youth for Biosecurity Fellow, she engaged in global biosecurity diplomacy workshops, further expanding her international perspective. Doofan’s passion for public health shines through her multifaceted career, notably her consultancy work focused on enhancing resilient pandemic preparedness and response systems, and vaccination coverage. Her academic achievements and professional experiences are complemented by numerous awards which include being inducted into the Delta Omega Honorary Society for Public Health.
