Dr. Jessica Alden is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Capstone Coordinator in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Howard University. Her research interests are in applying knowledge translation principles to participant-led studies to address health and education inequities. In her role as capstone coordinator, she aims to empower graduate students to conduct robust projects that address problems facing communities they are passionate about serving. She also manages their digital capstone repository to disseminate the student and faculty research. She is passionate about using TKA principles to address occupational and health inequities.
