Born in Haiti and raised in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami, South Florida, Rose and her sister were brought up by their late mother in a single-parent household. A former FCCAgE/USDA Scholar, Intern, and Researcher, Rose has presented at national conferences and contributed to research on environmental health and heavy metal remediation. She currently serves as Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Harvard Chan Student Government Association and previously held multiple leadership roles within Student Government at Miami Dade College.
She is also the Founder and President of Living in Abundance LLC, a wellness brand offering curated gift boxes designed to support healing, connection, and celebration across life’s seasons.
Rose’s leadership journey began in the City of Miami Police Explorer Program Post 162, where she rose through the ranks from Sergeant to Lieutenant, Captain, and Major, eventually serving as a Junior Advisor mentoring younger cadets. In 2015, she was honored as Third Runner-Up in the Miss Haiti International Pageant, using her platform to advocate for the elimination of childhood hunger, mental health awareness, educational equity, and Haitian cultural pride.
She is a proud member of the ORA Women Investigator Network and ORA Talent Influencer Network at FDA, as well as Sigma Beta Delta and Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Societies. Her accolades include the Harvard Chan School Scholarship, FDA Public Health Mission Award, FDA Teamwork/Collegiality Award, President’s Volunteer Service Award, and over 30 additional recognitions for service, leadership, and academic achievement.
Fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole, Rose currently divides her time between Florida, New Jersey, Boston, and Washington, D.C. She is passionate about health equity, youth mentorship, community wellness, and creating systems of care that leave no one behind.
