Calvin has spent his entire career in healthcare and is currently completing his Masters in Public Health (MPH) in Health Management with a concentration in Leadership at the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH). During his time at HSPH he interned in Strategy&’s Health Transformation practice working with a payor to develop strategies to support Medicaid patients. Additionally, he was a Venture Fellow at Rock Health, a venture capital firm focused on digital health.

His research has shown what organizations and managers can do to improve health care workers’ job quality and work environments, especially historically underserved “low-wage workers” who are playing crucial roles in the delivery of primary care.

In addition, Hana Ruran’s research includes identifying innovative compounds to reduce toxins newly discovered on smartphones that was published in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and presented at the 2022 American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, Louisville, Kentucky with extensive national media coverage. Former MRI technologist and hospital administrator for the Cleveland Clinic outpatient radiology division. Joined Siemens Healthineers and helped commercialize enterprise virtual remote scanning technologies that helped patients get imaging studies throughout the workforce shortage and distancing protocol barriers during Covid-19. Developed clinical and business protocols to improve patient care diagnostics and throughput. Including MRI physics protocols for full body cancer screening used by companies like Ezra. Led enterprise strategic partnerships for the Mountain West zone to help hospital and imaging centers utilize AI-driven software and equipment to achieve more precise diagnostic imaging outcomes for patients.
