Health Justice Scholars Competition
BCPH invites passionate students and future leaders to share bold ideas that promote equity, address systemic barriers, and create a healthier, more just world for all.

Competition Prompt
What is today’s number one public health issue and how would you solve it?
Applicants must submit a 3-minute video response and appear on camera. Finalists will be recognized at the BCPH Awards Gala.
Free to Apply. There is no fee to sign up for this competition.
- Eligible for high school students, pre-med and pre-MPH students, MPH students, DrPH students, medical students, and residents
- Cash prizes: $250 and $500
- Certificates of achievement
- Publishing rights on BCPH and BCPHR websites
- Application deadline: May 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET
