A physician-serial entrepreneur, Dr. Carpenter is a recognized healthcare innovator, inventor, educator, and advocate for social justice. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Boston Congress of Public Health. For the past five years, she has also served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Boston Congress of Public Health Review.

She has been integral to the development of the BCPH Academy, Public Health Institute and Medical Academy, Thought Fellowship, and Editorial Fellowship. Dr. Carpenter is a dedicated educator, teaching public health at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and courses in Pharmaceutical Economics, Nonprofit Management, Entrepreneurial Management, and Ethical and Legal Responsibilities for Managers at the Martin V. Smith School of Business and Economics in Camarillo, California. She also serves on the Institutional Review Board at CSUCI.

Dr. Carpenter has received numerous prestigious fellowships from around the world, including from the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Leadership Program, UCLA Biodesign and Healthcare Technology Fellowship, Oxford's Women Leadership in Entrepreneurship Programme, Oxford's Social Impact Program, and Harvard Chan's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellowship.

Dr. Carpenter holds an MPH in Public Health Leadership and Health and Social Behavior from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health, an M.B.A. from Oxford University Said Business School, an M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, an Ed.M. in Mind, Brain, Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University.

Dr. Circe Gray Le Compte (she/her/hers) has served as editor-in-chief and co-editor-in-chief of BCPHR since 2015, and was part of the journal's founding board, as Deputy Editor, in 2014. She is also Co-CEO of The Boston Congress of Public Health, which publishes BCPHR.

In addition to these leadership roles, she serves as Chief Technology Officer and heads BCPH Studio. She is Executive Producer of Great Health Debates and co-Producer of The Humor Scientist with Matt Kazam, and is the creator of the forthcoming Public Health History Mysteries.

Dr. Le Compte holds Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees from Harvard University, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she majored in social and behavioral sciences theory and research methods, and racial and sexual and gender minority health. Her independent research inquiries have focused on the use of novel interventions, such as soap operas and PhotoVoice, to improve the health outcomes of medically underserved populations.

Dr. Le Compte has several decades of communications experience, serving as Director of Communications for the National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC) from 2004 to 2011, as Senior Researcher at Impact Marketing and Communications from 2011 to 2012, and as a senior contractor with HealthHIV from 2011 to 2023.

Attrayee (Atty) Chakraborty is an award-winning Quality Systems Engineer at a Digital Healthcare division where she drives QMS processes and continuous improvement for enterprise excellence.

Attrayee has previously spoken on AI integration in healthcare systems, drug misinformation, quality culture, and international regulations at more than 30 national and international conferences. She is also the co-editor of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Medical Device Division newsletter, a Center lead of Pathway for Patient Health, and a working member of IEEE P3396 standards (Recommended Practice for Defining and Evaluating AI Risk, Safety, Trustworthiness, and Responsibility).

Attrayee is recognized as an AI community leader by the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) and is a recipient of the RAPS Rising Star Award (2025) and Quality Rookie Award (2025).

Juliet Siena Lumati, MD, FACS, FSSO is a surgical oncologist and global oncology researcher with over 15 years of experience in global surgery and oncology, including prior service as a UCGLOCAL Fogarty-Fulbright Fellow and as a congressional staffer for Senator Tom Harkin through the Barbara Jordan Health Policy Scholars Program with the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Her work focuses on health services research within the context of global oncology, including financial toxicity, cancer care delivery, and health equity in underserved populations. She is the Principal Investigator of the COST-FIN Trial, the first randomized controlled trial evaluating financial navigation interventions for patients with cancer in Sub-Saharan Africa, conducted through the African Research Group in Oncology (ARGO), an NCI-designated cancer consortium comprised of 32 hospitals and cancer centers across Nigeria with United States-based academic partnerships.

Dr. Lumati has received multiple national and international honors for her work in global oncology, mentorship, and healthcare equity, including the ASCO Global Oncology Young Investigator Award, selection to the Society of Surgical Oncology Presidential Scholars Program, the AHPBA Gazi Zibari Global Outreach Humanitarian Award, Northwestern University Research Mentor of the Year, and recognition as one of the San Diego Business Journal's Top 25 in Their 20s.

Dr. Kadambari Rawal, fondly known by her students and patients as "Dr. Kady," holds faculty appointments at both Boston University and Harvard University. As Clinical Associate Professor at GSDM, she has been part of BU Dental Health Center's Faculty Practice for over 16 years where she provides full mouth rehabilitation and comprehensive dental services to adults, older adults, and adults with special needs. She exclusively practices geriatric dental medicine at the long term care facilities of Hebrew Senior Life and teaches minimally invasive, evidence-based dental medicine strategies for patients with advanced healthcare needs in long term care settings. She holds Fellowships in the American Society of Geriatric Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

She has lectured on Geriatric Dental Medicine at the American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association and FDI World Dental Congresses with invitations from Deans and faculty worldwide and has spoken at dental and medical schools in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. She has also worked with universities in India to add Geriatrics to their Bachelor of Dental Surgery curriculum.

She is the past Chair and current Councilwoman for the American Dental Education Association's section on Gerontology and Geriatrics Education and the current Vice President of the American Society for Geriatric Dentists. She is the President of Smiles For Success Foundation, a non profit organization of the American Association of Women Dentists that provides cost free dental care to women in need across the United States and has been past Chair of the Boston District Dental Society holding several leadership positions within the American Dental Association. She has testified and lobbied at the state house in Massachusetts several times on public health policies for vulnerable older adults and the need for insurance reform.

Honored with the 2016 Lucy Hobbs woman to watch award, the 2019 ADA 10 under 10 title, several 40 under 40 health care awards, the 2021 DentaQuest Health Equity Hero award, 2022 Boston Congress of Public Health award, the 2023 ADA's Evidence Based Dentistry Practice category award, and the coveted 2025 American Dental Education Jean Sinkford Faculty Leadership Award, Dr. Rawal treats centenarians on a daily basis in her practice and is an avid painter, vegetarian baker and organic gardener. She lives with her husband and son in Boston.

Dr. Taylor Rich is a Community Health Worker, doula, and public health leader based in Worcester, Massachusetts. She serves in a leadership role at the Massachusetts Association of Community Health Workers, where she leads training, communications, workforce development, and statewide coalition and policy initiatives to strengthen and sustain the CHW workforce.

Her work is rooted in both professional experience and lived expertise, with a focus on advancing health equity and maternal health.

Dr. Olabiyi Olaniran, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Research Fellow at the PASSIO Laboratory and Director of Clinical Development at CardioVis, and serves at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Harvard Medical School).

He works at the intersection of artificial intelligence, clinical care, and health systems innovation, with a focus on advancing equitable access to care across diverse populations. He has led and contributed to global health initiatives spanning Africa and the United States, translating innovation into real-world impact.

James Arthur is an emerging public health leader whose work bridges mental health, health systems, and community-centered prevention. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at East Tennessee State University and holds both a Master of Public Health and a bachelor's degree in health services administration and psychology.

Through his clinical role as a Mental Health Therapist at Ballad Health Woodridge Hospital, he supports therapeutic services for individuals navigating intricate mental health needs. As a Research Assistant, he contributes to research, data analysis, and scholarly writing that advance mental health equity and public health impact.

His earlier work with the Ghana Health Service and Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital strengthened his experience in healthcare administration, public health operations, policy support, and outbreak response.

James is especially passionate about HIV prevention, culturally responsive care, and improving outcomes for marginalized communities, with recent presentations at AIDSWatch 2026 and SYNC 2026 highlighting community-led HIV prevention and sexual minority mental health in Appalachia. Across every setting, he brings a clear commitment to equity, service, and building healthier communities through research-informed and compassionate practice.
