This marks the fourth cohort of the Fellowship, which was originally known as the HPHR Fellowship Program. The program is guided by an overall vision to provide a platform, training, and support network for the next generation of public health thought leaders and public scholars to explore and grow their voice. Fellows will participate in 6 months of training, comprising 2 months of technical training and content workshopping and 4 months of content creation and promotion.
Their work will be published on HPHR.org and BCPH.org, and be featured on BCPH social media platforms, as well as that of each respective Fellow.

Usen-Obong Sabbath (He/Him/His)
Director, BCPH Thought Leadership for Public Health Fellowship
This year marks Sabbath’s second year leading the BCPH Thought Fellowship for Leadership at the Boston Congress of Public Health. Sabbath holds a BSc Degree in Biochemistry from University of Uyo, Nigeria. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has over 3 years of academic research, having served as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2019 to 2021 to a PhD Research fellow, Imaobong Akpet, Department of Biochemistry, University of Uyo.
